    Aubaine confirmed for Hampstead

Aubaine, the French restaurant and patisserie concept, has secured its ninth site, after acquiring the Goldfish site in London’s Hampstead.

As revealed by M&C Report last year, the brand will occupy the former 1,727sq ft premises of the Restaurant Privilege Group’s modern Chinese Dim Sum restaurant after taking a 25-year lease at a rent understood to be close to £150kper year.

It is thought to be looking a further opening opportunities in central London.

The chain opened its eighth site in the UK, and its first in a suburban location, in London’s Wimbledon Village last year.

The group operates a further five sites in London, plus two units, a café and a restaurant in the Selfridges Exchange Square scheme in Manchester.

Restaurant Property agency director David Rawlinson, who advised Aubaine, said: “This is a great new location for Aubaine, it is a soothing split level space in the heart of a very affluent and discerning neighbourhood.”
