The Cinnamon Club opened in Westminster to much foodie fanfare in 2001; Cinnamon Kitchen followed in 2009 and caused a similar stir in the City; and 2012 welcomes Cinnamon Soho, the third restaurant from executive chef Vivek Singh.
This latest venture is the chef’s first foray into the West End and is just a stone’s throw from the cobbles of Carnaby Street, sealing Soho’s growing reputation as London’s favoured foodie hotspot. This time round, Vivek loosens his tie for something altogether more casual, eschewing fine-dining in favour of comfort food classics and sharing
plates, there’s a distinctly British thread running throughout the Cinnamon Soho menu.
It has been over ten years since Vivek helped to define the term modern Indian cuisine’, and the launch of Cinnamon Soho is set to define another: ‘modern Indian cuisine-with-a-Brit-twist’. Never one to stand still, Singh has struck again.
