Located on James Street, within the St Christopher’s Place state just north of Oxford Street, Cocochan which opened in February has already made its mark on this established restaurant quarter.
Cocochan is a Pan-Asian concept that draws upon the best of Thai, Chinese, Japanese and Indian cuisines to provide an eclectic menu that enables diners to eat in a family or sharing style Tapas or, if they so chose, more traditional dining. The menu is divided into small dishes and main dishes. Of the dishes that I tried, all are exceptional but if I had to pick one, it would be the duck salad with water melon and hoisin.
The restaurant is divided into two areas of different style and the cocktail bar in the basement is open from 5pm each day.
As well as an exquisite menu, the service in this restaurant far exceeds anything yet seen in St Christopher’s Place. We highly recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner.
