Award-winning Spanish tapas restaurant Iberica opened its second London restaurant on 21 November at Cabot Square.
At the helm of this Canary Wharf newcomer is Executive Chef Nacho Manzano, chef patron of 2 Michelin starred Casa Marcial in Asturias. The day-to-day running of the restaurant is done by Manzano’s protégé and his former development chef, Cesar Garcia.
The menu features Spanish classics like Croquetas de Jamon and three types of Jamon Iberico, carved to order, along with more experimental dishes like Beetroot and Red Fruit Gazpacho with Cheese Ice Cream or Tempura of Spring Onion with Aioli and Soy Sauce. The extensive Spanish wine list features several wines which are only available at Iberica outside of Spain.
Restaurant Property’s Jason Grant who acquired the site on behalf of Iberica says, “A dramatic space, with high ceilings and two large balcony areas looking over the main dining area which add different dimensions to the restaurant as well as private dining. The theatre of the open kitchen and the bar add further to the exciting atmosphere of Iberica!”
