Like its illustrious Copthall Avenue sibling – which has been consistently acknowledged as London’s best ‘kaiten’ (conveyor belt) restaurant since it first opened 12 years ago – the new outpost will offer more of the ultra successful formula: traditional Japanese cooking with a contemporary twist.
In a buzzy yet inviting environment, diners can take their pick from an amazing variety of both traditional and modern Japanese dishes. Colour-coded and ranging in price from £2 to £5.50 with the occasional special at £7.50, all circulate in front of them.
At K10 you won’t find the standard, rather dull Japanese fare that has become the staple of so many high streets and supermarkets. Using the highest quality ingredients, the chefs at K10 have combined flavours and textures to create a menu where consistency is a given and the range is extensive – from the freshest salmon sashimi to seared sesame tuna served with a miso and mustard vinaigrette.
Some like it hot, so K10 also offers a range of other delicious dishes, including a variety of katsu curries, chicken and salmon teriyaki served 3 ways, gyoza, crispy chicken karage, tempura and its great chilli baby squid. Fresh salads and delicious home-made desserts like the refreshing and light green tea mousse, complete the line-up.
K10 also offers a take-away and delivery service to The City and Canary Wharf.
David Rawlinson of Restaurant Property, who acquired this property on behalf of K10 says; “Great tasting, healthy food at reasonable prices. K10 is a group to watch!”
