Leicester House is a new boutique hotel offering French Vietnamese dining. This transformed Georgian townhouse offers a 50 cover restaurant and fifteen newly decorated bedrooms with two additional suites.
This summer, Leicester House opened its doors to the public, offering a cosy atmosphere that draws on its quintessential Georgian charm and a French Vietnamese menu, more in keeping with its position in Chinatown.
With many of the dishes on the menu cooked on a Robata charcoal grill, expect to see tiger prawns, blackened squid, scallops, smoked ribs, bone broth with crab wonton, côte de boeuf, banh mi, West Mersea oysters served with our own dipping sauce and some simple and fresh salads and sides.
They have balanced the menu to incorporate an all-day dining feel with some well sourced charcuterie and a range of desserts, including our bitter chocolate pot with hazelnut cha fee and salt baked pineapple with kaffir lime sorbet.
There is also a great terrace, fantastic cocktails and they are open Monday to Saturday till late for some after-hours fun.
