The team behind the ever-popular Salt Yard and Dehesa tapas bars have unveiled a new sister site in Covent Garden.
Set over two floors in a former pub, the new venue serves charcuterie, cheese and Italian and Spanish tapas, as well as a wide range of wines and sherries.
A charcoal grill in the bar allows locals and theatre-goers to pop in for mini Iberico pork burgers and pinchos morunos (marinated pork skewers).
Time out says: “It’s low-lit, looks on-trend and is immediately appealing; it’s partly inspired by the vibe and approach of places such Mario Batali’s Bar Jamón in New York – but it’s firmly rooted in London. It’s also equally accomplished as a bar and restaurant – a tricky mix to get right.” – read the full article here
We say: “Try the Iberico burger! Truly fantastic”
