The restaurant, which was established in 1991, operating under the guidance of David Moore, is seeking sites between 600sq ft and 5,000sq ft in locations such as Soho, Covernt Garden, Shoreditch and Chelsea for the new venture.
The group, which has retained Restaurant Property to advise on the roll out, also operates sister restaurant L’Autre Pied in Marylebone and the Pied Consultancy.
Moore is also a non-executive director of new chicken-led concept, Clockjack Oven.
Pied à Terre was established in 1991. The restaurant gained its first Michelin star in 1993 and its second in 1996.
