The Portman Estate has signed chef Gwen Wren to launch a new restaurant at 24 Seymour Place, W1.
Wren has signed a new 15 year lease for the 2,400 sq ft restaurant. The restaurant, named The Lockhart, will open in late April.
The menu will feature a combination of flavours from Mexico and the south-west US.
Mark Calder, head of sales at Restaurant Property, which acted for the Portman Estate, said: “The Portman Village has established quite a reputation as a foodie haven. This has been carefully cultivated by selecting unique independent operators. High-end south-western cuisine will be a very popular attraction and we can’t wait to eat there.”
