Tasty Plc has announced that it has acquired 4,420 sq ft Anne Furbank fashion store on Newmarket’s high street which it is converting to its Wildwood Italian restaurant chain format.
The Grade II listed building was acquired as a freehold from the The Trustees of the Anne Furbank Group Ltd Retirement Fund. The terms were not disclosed.
Restaurant Property founder David Rawlinson said: “This restaurant is expected to trade really well. Its a great location and the historic building which once was the Town Hall has a real presence.”
The group operates a further five sites in London, plus two units, a café and a restaurant in the Selfridges Exchange Square scheme in Manchester.
Wildwood Newmarket is set to open in April and Tasty Plc was advised by Restaurant Property.
