    Roganic

Chef entrepreneur Simon Rogan has brought his Roganic restaurant back to Marylebone, London, this time as a permanent site. Rogan has returned to the same road, Blandford Street, where he launched Roganic as a pop-up in 2011. Simon and Penny Rogan acquired the site, previously L’Autre Pied Restaurant, which will run alongside Aulis London, his development kitchen and eight seat chef’s table which opened in Soho on the 14th October.

Upon its return, Roganic will be bringing elements of L’Enclume, Simon’s two Michelin star restaurant in the Lake District, to London. Roganic will be characterised by a forward-thinking and imaginative menu, using only the freshest and most exceptional array of produce from the best suppliers around the country, including Simon’s ‘Our Farm’ in The Lake District. The menu promises to be a renaissance of the original pop-up and will deliver an informed dining experience, serving innovative dishes that draw upon Simon’s trademark visionary and pioneering cooking.

Some of the original Roganic team members have also returned, including head chef Oliver Marlow and general manager James Foster. Sommelier Alessandra Saponara, previously of Fera, curates a 159 bin wine list that starts at a reasonable £19 and incorporates a good selection of natural and bio-dynamic wines to complement Rogan’s trademark food philosophy.

David Rawlinson of Restaurant Property who oversaw the transaction says, ‘It’s great to see Simon Rogan back in Marylebone on a permanent basis, I’m certain Roganic will be a huge success’.
