Roka, Rainer Becker’s contemporary Japanese robatayaki restaurant brand, has secured a site in Aldwych House for its second opening in London this year.
The group, which announced last year that it would open two new London locations in 2014, will open in North Audley Street later this month, with Roka Aldwych to follow this summer.
The Mayfair site will open on North Audley Street and will be a “relaxed yet elegant dining destination”, while Roka Aldwych will deliver “a new dynamic altogether with unique design elements in both the restaurant and bar”.
The two new sites will join Roka Charlotte Street, which opened in 2004, Roka Canary Wharf and Roka Hong Kong.
David Rawlinson at Restaurant Property is understood to have handled the Aldwych deal.
